Consultation workshop on social dialogue manual draft in Hanoi – 21 Jan 2016
VCCI and VGCL conduct a joint paper named Social Dialogue Manual. When the final draft is available, a consultation workshop is organized to collect comments and ideas for finalizing this manual.
To seek opinions of experts, researchers, full-time union officials, and employer’ representatives on the 2 draft workplace dialogue manuals; and, based on such opinions, to assess the alignment between the relevant promulgated laws and regulations and their practical application in the workplace, with a view to supporting enterprises towards effective implementation of Regular Workplace Dialogue related provisions, as well as in formulating and enhancing workplace dialogue systems.

Workshop Activities
To introduce the draft workplace dialogue manuals to grassroots-level union officials and enterprise managers. These manuals detail the techniques to formulate dialogue mechanisms, elect team representatives, set up processes and procedures for regular workplace dialogue, and introduce practical experience of enterprises in various sectors and of different characteristics, where regular workplace dialogues have been conducted.
To seek comments and feedback from experts, researchers, full-time union officials, and employer’s representatives on the 2 draft workplace dialogue manuals, with a view to facilitating the formulation of a workplace dialogue system containing all the necessary elements required for such a system, and specifying dialogue principles, direct and indirect dialogue channels, and how to operate such channels.
