Community Emergency Employment Programme distribution of wages and benefits to 150 informal economy workers in Maguindanao
Beneficiaries of the Community Emergency Employment Programme (CEEP) mainly 150 displaced workers from the informal economy in Maguindanao receive wages and benefits under the ILO-Japan Water and Sanitation Project in partnership with the Ministry of Labor and Employment.
MOLE distributed allowances to 150 beneficiaries, mainly displaced workers in the informal economy under the programme. The distribution happened in six barangays of Sharif Aguak, Sharif Saydona Mustapha and Datu Abdullah Sangki in Maguindanao after fifteen days of working or cleaning their community.
MOLE implemented the CEEP under the ILO-Japan Water and Sanitation Project, with funding from the Government of Japan to reach out to workers affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, mostly those in the informal economy. It was successfully initiated in BARMM, and will become part of the government’s regular programme this year.
