Formalization of the Informal Economy Project
Capacity-building training for the Formalize Your Business training programme trainers
ILO Formalization of the informal economy project organized capacity-building training for the trainers of the FYB training programme within the framework of the implementation of the programme nationwide from 23 to 24 January 2025.
We invited the officials from the Ministry of family, labour and social protection, National statistics office, General authority for social insurance and General department of taxation to present regarding the new regulations and legislation which came into force on 1 January 2025.
After the training, participants shared their insights and opinions and discussed the training plan for 2025.
The project aims to reach the following objectives by implementing the FYB programme at the national level:
- The social insurance culture will be promoted, and social protection coverage will be increased.
- By understanding the importance and benefits of paying taxes and setting up a formal bookkeeping system, business owners will have the opportunity to expand their businesses.
- Compliance with the laws on labour and occupational safety, and health will be ensured.
- By creating decent working conditions, the well-being of workers and their motivation will be increased. They work with high motivation and productivity, which prevents employees from moving in and out of your business.
