Business is not as usual: what EBMOs need to know is a new live interactive broadcast focusing on the shape-shifting business landscape and the evolving role of Employers’ and Business Membership Organizations.

The Programme for Employers' Activities of the International Training Centre of the ILO, (ITC/ILO), together with the Bureau for Employers' Activities of the ILO (ACT/EMP) will be presenting the findings and take-away messages from ACT/EMP research and ongoing projects.

Specific discussion themes on March 19th will include:

• Financial sustainability – What does the latest research tell us in terms of new strategies for boosting resilience and long-term EBMO sustainability?
• Leading-edge HRM – How can we practice what we preach in terms of adopting effective Human Resources Management practices and use this to attract, develop and retain top talent within EBMOs?
• Digitally-enhanced or Pigeon-post EBMOs - Where do EBMOs stand on the road to digital transformation and what comes next?
• Policy priorities and the advocacy agenda – What are the emerging issues, how are EBMOs taking a lead on hot-topics like productivity, climate change, D&I and the platform economy?

This will also be a unique platform to hear about latest support tools and to exchange views on shaping strong, well-governed, and representative EBMOs of the future.
