As part of the ISEC's overarching objectives, a2i has undertaken 3 distinct programs to advocate and raise awareness regarding gender-responsive and environmentally sustainable Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) initiatives.
On 7 November 2023, a2i organized an awareness program in Ramu Upazila, which witnessed the spectacular participation of over 700 youth, including 320 women. The program focused on imparting awareness about skills development aligned with market demands.
Subsequently, on 16 November 2023, a2i conducted another awareness program in Teknaf Upazila, Cox’s Bazar, engaging more than 450 youth, with 180 women among them. The session emphasized awareness on market-driven skills with a specific focus on gender responsiveness.
On 18 November 2023, a2i hosted an advocacy program in Sadar Upazila, Cox’s Bazar, wherein over 500 youth, including 210 women, actively demonstrated their commitment to participating in gender-responsive TVET programs. These initiatives contribute to fostering a more inclusive and environmentally conscious landscape within the TVET sector.
