Accelerating action for the elimination of child labour in supply chains in Africa (ACCEL-Africa) to hold Validation Meeting for its Work Plan in Nigeria

ACCEL Africa Project, earlier in the year, held a national Consultation and Strategic Planning Workshop (C&SPW) to present the project to the key stakeholders to seek their support in the drafting of the project work plan and its implementation.

After due consultations with partners and constituents at the national and state levels, the draft outputs and activities were aligned with the ACCEL Africa project document and shared with ILO specialists for their inputs.

To this end, the ILO, through the ACCEL Africa Project, plans to hold a one-day validation meeting to present the draft work plan for its validation by the stakeholders on 30th July 2019 at Chelsea Hotel, Abuja.

Expected Results

The expected results of the meeting are the following:

· ACCEL Africa Workplan adopted and ready for implementation

· Establish Project Advisory Committee for implementation of the project
