Based on the success of the Academy on Workplace Compliance organized in 2015, that gathered more than 100 participants from all continents, the Labour Administration, Labour Inspection and Occupational Safety and Health Branch of the ILO with the ILO International Training Centre organized a 2017 edition of the academy.
During the event, 27 November to 8 December in Turin, Italy, representatives of labour inspectorates, ministries of labour, social partners and other interested parties gathered to gain new insights, share experiences and reflect on key issues, trends and challenges relating to workplace compliance through labour inspection.
ILO's Labour Inspection, Labour Administration Team shared new developments on approaches and tools to improve the effectiveness and impact of labour inspection.
Target Group: Officials from labour administration (Ministry of Labour or other institutions involved in labour administration); Officials from labour administration/inspection at central or provincial level; Trainers from labour administration/inspection training institutions; Representatives of workers' and employers' organizations; ILO officials and staff of technical cooperation projects; Experts, researchers and consultants in labour-related issues.
