Recognizing the active role of individuals and organizations in driving innovation in skills systems and addressing skills challenges, the ILO has launched the Skills Innovation Network.
The Skills Innovation Network connects skills innovators interested in sharing ideas, experiences and collaborate to develop and scale innovations for identified skills challenges.
The Skills Innovation Network intends to engage all organizations and individuals having submitted proposals in the ILO Skills Challenge Innovation Call and provide them with space to connect with lead organizations working on similar issues across the world, refine their proposals, and initiate new endeavours around joint areas of interest.
Objectives of the meeting
The 1st Meeting of the ILO Skills Innovation Network Core Group will gather the best applications from each region to discuss the objectives and design the network.
The purpose of this meeting is to:
introduce the ILO Skills Innovation Facility and the ILO Skills Innovation Network;
explain the role of the Core Group; and
take initial steps towards the design of the network.
The meeting will also be an opportunity to meet other participants and establish one to one contacts with organizations working on the same subject than yours.
