Focusing on one of Egypt's key industrial sectors, Robbiki Leather City, the study examines productivity, environmental compliance, competitiveness, and working conditions. It draws on field research and stakeholder consultations to provide evidence-based guidance on targeted activities that support modernization, value addition, and decent work.

This report was conducted within the framework of the International Labour Organization's Productivity Ecosystems for Decent Work in Egypt project, with funding from the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, and in partnership with the Egyptian Ministry of Industry.
