General discussion (CAN, 2026)

On Tuesday 2 June 2026 from 10:00 am., the Committee will hold a discussion on general aspects of the application of Conventions and Recommendations and the discharge by Member States of standards-related obligations under the ILO Constitution, which is primarily based on the General Report of the Committee of Experts. This year, a 60-minute segment of the general discussion will be dedicated to commemorating the Committee's centenary.

Beforehand, delegates who so wish may submit written information. This information will be published soonest and as far as possible translated into the three languages. It will be then included in the final report of the Committee.
