Accreditation of participants

The ILO has e-mailed country/organization specific links to Permanent Missions of Member States and invited observers (e.g. International Organizations, NGOs) to be forwarded to designated Focal points for the purposes of registering on the Meeting Management System (MMS).
Recipients should forward these links to their respective Focal points.
Focal points should register using the link provided to them and following instructions in the MMS User manual for Focal points.
Once registered, Focal points should prepare and submit their delegation's participants on the MMS platform following the instructions in the MMS User manual for Focal points.
Government Focal points should refer to the Explanatory note for national delegations.
Each participant will receive two emails:
- one to validate their email address
- one after accreditation has been received and processed by the ILO, with a specific link to upload a photograph and submit security-related information (passport number, date of birth, etc.)
Participants can check online if their accreditation has been received and processed by the ILO, on the Credentials Live platform.

Registration upon arrival: How to get a badge to access the Conference

To enter the Conference premises at the Palais des Nations and the ILO building, all participants must present a personalized badge with a photo. Badges can be collected at the registration desks located either

at the ILO building, R3 level (North)
or at the Pregny Gate of the Palais des Nations

Since Conference badges must include a photo and security-related details (such as passport number and date of birth), participants are required to submit this information online using the link provided in the second email received after accreditation has been processed by the ILO. Participants who do not submit their photo and required information in advance should expect delays during on-site registration.

To minimize waiting times—especially on the morning of Monday, 2 June 2025—early badge collection on the days leading up to the Conference is strongly recommended.

Once delegates are included in the delegation by the delegation’s focal point, they will receive an email asking them to verify their email address. Subsequently, once the delegation is fully accredited by the ILO, delegates will receive an email requesting them to access the MMS and enter badge-related information, including:

confirming their personal information;

uploading a photo for their badge;

indicating whether they will need reasonable accommodation;

providing their passport or ID-related information;

indicating how their badge will be collected

Photographs are mandatory in case badges are collected by another person (proxy). If badges are collected by delegates themselves, they can either upload a photograph on the system or have their picture taken upon receiving their badge.

Proxy Authorization: Delegates can authorize a third party to collect their badge via a radio button in their MMS profile. If selected, delegates must then choose a member of their delegation from a dropdown list to act as their proxy for badge collection.
The registration desks for the collection of badges will be located at ILO headquarters at the R3 level (North) as well as at the Palais des Nations, Pregny Gate. The desks at the ILO will already open as of Wednesday, 28 May.

Registration in committees

The Conference will establish the committees it deems necessary for the consideration of the various items on the agenda of its 113th Session at its first sitting on Monday, 2 June 2025. Membership of the committees so established will then be determined based on registration by delegates and advisers from each of three constituent groups.

Governments, employers’ and workers’ delegates and advisers who intend to participate in committees are therefore kindly asked to complete on-line registration forms as soon as possible and no later than Sunday, 1 June 2025, by 5 p.m. (Central European Summer Time) so as to be able to participate in the work of the first sitting of each committee.

The registration forms, along with all the relevant information regarding their submission, are available for download below. Please note that committee membership will be effective only once the Office has received official credentials in respect of the national delegation concerned.

Media accreditation

There are different accreditation procedures applicable to Geneva-based journalists already accredited to the UN and for journalists who are not accredited to the UN in Geneva.

Geneva-based journalists already accredited to the UN will be able to access the press galleries of meetings that are open to the press using their UNOG badges.

Those with photo or video equipment should inform the ILO News Unit in advance: ([email protected] or +4122/799-7912), specifying the time and date they wish to enter. Please note that for security reasons, filming on the plenary floor is limited and requires a staff member from the Department of Communication (DCOMM) to be present.

To access the ILO building UNOG-accredited journalists should inform the ILO News Unit in DCOMM ahead of their visit: ([email protected] or +4122/799-7912).
To obtain accreditation for the conference journalists should complete the accreditation form and send it, with all the information and documents requested, to [email protected], using the subject line ‘ILC press accreditation’.

Journalists who may require assistance from the ILO to facilitate entry visas for Switzerland should send a request by e-mail to [email protected], using the subject line ‘VISA & ILC’, along with the exact dates of the intended visit, a copy of a valid passport, a copy of a valid professional press card and a letter of assignment from the Editor-in-Chief of the media outlet concerned.

Press badges will be available for collection from the ILO accreditation desk at ILO HQ, on presentation of a valid passport, a valid professional press card and a letter of assignment from the Editor-in-Chief of the media concerned.

Journalists wishing to bring in photo or video equipment into the Palais des Nations or the ILO should inform the ILO News Unit in DCOMM in advance ([email protected] or +4122/799-7912) and be prepared to pass through a security check point at the Palais des Nations with their equipment.
