Memorandum of Understanding between the Government of the Kingdom of Thailand and the Government of the Union of Myanmar on cooperation in the employment of workers

Objectives:
(1) Drafting proper procedures for employment of workers
(2) for effective repatriation of workers, who completed contract
(3) Provide protection to workers
(4) Preventive and effective action against illegal border crossings
Renewal History:
Valid until cancelled officially by notification by either party
Follow up mechanism:
Regular consultations at senior level officials, at least once a year on an alternative basis
Coverage of migration cycle:
(1) Pre-departure
(2) In-service - Return
(3) Post Migration
