Memorandum of Understanding on the Employment of workers between the Government of India and the Government of the Malaysia

Objectives:
(1) To establish a framework to facilitate the employment, protection and welfare of workers from India, working in Malaysia and workers from Malaysia working in India
Renewal History:
Extension by mutual agreement of both parties
Follow up mechanism:
(1) To form a Joint Committee
(2) To meet at least twice a year alternately in India and Malaysia
(3) Each party to designate an office as contact point with the other party
Coverage of migration cycle:
(1) Pre-departure
(2) In-service
