20th American Regional Meeting

The 20th American Regional Meeting convened by the International Labour Organization (ILO) was held in Punta Cana from Wednesday, 1 October, to Friday, 3 October 2025. The Government of the Dominican Republic hosted this important event, which brought together key figures from the political, economic, and social spheres of the countries of the region to join forces in the pursuit of decent work in the region.

How to prepare to register for ILO Regional Meetings
To obtain accreditation for the conference journalists should download and complete the accreditation form and send it, with all the information and documents requested, to [email protected], using the subject line ‘AmRM press accreditation’.

Press badges will be available for collection from the ILO accreditation desk at the Barceló Bávaro Beach Hotel, on presentation of an ID (or a valid passport, for journalists not based in the Dominican Republic) and a valid professional press card.

Journalists wishing to bring in photo or video equipment into the Convention Center should inform the Communication team of the Ministry of Labour of the Dominican Republic in advance ([email protected]) and be prepared to pass through a security check point with their equipment.

Journalists who may require assistance to facilitate entry visas for the Dominican Republic should send a request by e-mail to [email protected], using the subject line ‘VISA & AmRM’, along with the exact dates of the intended visit, a copy of a valid passport, a copy of a valid professional press card and a letter of assignment from the Editor-in-Chief of the media outlet concerned.
