The SCORE Training program was introduced to the Safari Lodge, situated in the Amakhala Game Reserve in South Africa in November 2010. One particular problem that the lodge was struggling to find a solution to was the high cost of bottled water and the volumes of waste associated with it. Following the methodology of SCORE training program, management and employees made collective efforts to address the problem and achieved tangible results, saving money and reducing waste.
