This user’s guide was designed for staff of local employment offices, to be used during training sessions on gender mainstreaming. It accompanies the Guide developed for trainers of the Public Employment Service of Ukraine, which contains examples, individual and group activities and other resources, including a glossary of key gender mainstreaming terms, guidelines for the design, implementation and validation of gender mainstreaming workshops and other questionnaires and forms.

The user’s guide was developed by Valli Corbanese, who relied on her experience working with the public employment services in a number of transition countries.
