New on-line application developed to facilitate implementation of Emergency Employment Programmes in Yemen
The new application, developed by the Public Works Project (PWP) in Yemen in collaboration with the ILO will consolidate data from the field on Emergency Employment Programmes, to improve monitoring, reporting and follow-up on projects through their different phases of implementation.
Following the development of an emergency employment manual through the Public Works Project (PWP) in Yemen, in collaboration with the International Labour Organization, an on-line application was put together to facilitate implementation on the ground.
A remote monitoring application has been set up to collect data from the field on Emergency Employment Programmes.
This automated system is designed for engineers, coordinators, accountants and others implementing and overseeing such projects, allowing them to enter comprehensive data from the start of any project until the end.
There are various key features in this application, including workforce data, payment data, information of storage and purchase of material, workers’ grievance and complaints, among others.
The system will improve the consolidation of data, and facilitate monitoring and follow up on projects through their different phases of implementation.
