Understanding informality and expanding social security coverage in the Lao People’s Democratic Republic

The research report contains quantitative analysis of the labour force and enterprise landscape in the Lao People’s Democratic Republic and results of field work in three sectors. We hope that the findings can be useful to make tailored, evidence-based strategies and legislation to expand social security coverage and aid formalization in the country.
