South-South Cooperation workshop on TVET institutional capacity building and Peer-to-Peer Cooperation on January 21, 2022

Representatives from Guangxi Industrial Technician College, China and Champasak Provincial Skills Development Center of Lao PDR shared their experiences in skills development, skills certification as well as challenges in enrolment, training of trainers etc.

Both TVETs agreed to continue their peer-to-peer cooperation, with a focus on curriculum development, TOT exchange programme, trainees’ exchange and skills competition. The workshop is a follow-up event to the launch of the Skills Development Network through South-South Cooperation under ILO-China Partnership Project.
