South-South Cooperation workshop on TVET institutional capacity building and Peer-to-Peer Cooperation on January 14, 2022
On January 14, 2022, ILO-China Partnership Project convened a South-South Cooperation workshop on TVET institutional capacity building and Peer-to-Peer Cooperation.
Representative from Hangzhou Technician Institute, Vocational Education Development Institute of Lao PDR shared their experiences in skills development, skills certification, capacity building for teachers as well as challenges in enrolment, training of trainers etc.
Both TVETs agreed to continue their peer-to-peer cooperation, with a focus on curriculum development, TOT exchange programme for teachers. The workshop is a follow-up event to the launch of the Skills Development Network through South-South Cooperation under ILO-China Partnership Project.
