ILO-China Partnership Project convened a South-South Cooperation workshop on TVET institutional capacity building and Peer-to-Peer Cooperation January 17, 2022

On January 17, 2022, ILO-China Partnership Project convened a South-South Cooperation workshop on TVET institutional capacity building and Peer-to-Peer Cooperation.

Representatives from Guangxi Technician College of Machinery and Electricity and Vientiane Capital Skill Development Center of Lao PDR shared their experiences in skills development, certification, as well as challenges in enrolment, training of trainers etc.
Mr Xiang Jinlin, President of Guangxi Technician College of Machinery and Electricity, spoke at the workshop Mr Doih VIRANAM, Director of Vientiane Capital Skill Development Center of Lao PDR, spoke at the workshop Both TVETs agreed to continue their peer-to-peer cooperation, with a focus on curriculum development, TOT exchange programme and skills competition. The workshop is a follow-up event to the launch of the Skills Development Network through South-South Cooperation under ILO-China Partnership Project.
