Launching Ceremony of South-South Cooperation Skills Development Network

The ILO-China Partnership Programme together with the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security of China (Development Partner) are pleased to host the Launching Ceremony of South-South Cooperation Skills Development Network on 10 November 2021 via virtual ZOOM meeting. 
Skills Training
There are participants who are officials from the ministerial levels of Cambodia and Lao PDR, together with representatives from TVET schools and colleges from the three countries (Cambodia, Lao PDR and Myanmar) and China joined this launching to share their views.This launching event aimed to review and adopt the Workplan of the Network for 2020-2021, to be followed by bilateral meetings of skills training centres/TVETs from the CLM countries and China. Based on peer skills centres/TVETs discussion, the ILO-China Partnership Programme compile a workplan to support continued pair cooperation activities, including workshops on curriculum development, Training of Trainers, exchange programmes for trainers and trainees etc.

Furthermore, on this important occasion the launch was honoured and welcomed by Ms Panudda Boonpala, Deputy Regional Director for Asia and the Pacific of the International Labour Organization, H.E. Tang Tao, Vice Minister of Human Resources and Social Security of China, H.E. Pich Sophoan, Minister Delegate Attached to the Prime Minister, Permanent Secretary of State, Ministry of Labour and Vocational Training, Cambodia and H.E. Phongxaysack Intharath, Vice Minister of Labour and Social Welfare, Lao PDR.
