Partnership for Action on Green Economy (PAGE) in Indonesia
17 August 2022
In Indonesia, ILO under PAGE conducted a ‘Green Jobs and Just Transition Policy Readiness Assessment’, with an in-depth exploration of the energy sector. The ILO also initiated an assessment of green jobs potential and skills needs for a green recovery through circular economy (CE) in the food & beverage sector (palm oil refinery sub-sector). The study is part of comprehensive assessments from PAGE agencies for providing inputs to the national development plan document (RPJMN) of 2025-29. The findings of the studies will also be integrated into a report on enabling conditions with policy recommendation to promote Green Jobs & Just Transition – feeding into the Inclusive Green Economy Framework (IGEF) and relevant capacity building activities.
