    ဤအက်ဥ္းခ်ဳပ္စာတမ္းသည္ ေရႊ႕ေျပာင္း သြားလာျခင္းဆိုင္ရာ အခ်ိဳ႕အေၾကာင္းအရာမ်ားႏွင့္ စပ္လ်ဥ္း၍ နည္းပညာ အၾကံျပဳခ်က္မ်ားေပးရန္အတြက္ အိုင္အယ္လ္အို ရန္ကုန္႐ံုးမွ အသက္ေမြးဝမ္းေက်ာင္းမွဳႏွင့္ စားနပ္ရိကၡာ ဖူလံုေရးရန္ပံုေငြ (LIFT) ၏ ေငြေၾကးပံ့ပိုးမွဳျဖင့္ အတြဲလိုက္ေရးသားထုတ္ေဝသည့္ အက်ဥ္းခ်ဳပ္ စာတမ္းမ်ားအနက္ ပထမဆံုးျဖစ္သည္ ။ ဤအက်ဥ္းခ်ဳပ္ စာတမ္းတြင္ ေရႊ႕ေျပာင္းအလုပ္သမားမ်ားအတြက္ တိုင္ၾကားမွဳ သို႕မဟုတ္ နစ္နာမွဳဆိုင္ရာ ယႏၱရားမ်ားအား ၾကပ္မတ္ထိန္းခ်ဳပ္သည့္ အျပည္ျပည္ ဆိုင္ရာ ဥပေဒမူေဘာင္ႏွင့္ လမ္းညႊန္ခ်က္မ်ား ပါဝင္သည္ ။ အစိုးရတိုင္ၾကားမွဳယႏ ၱရား ၊ သံ႐ံုးမ်ား ၊ ျမန္မာျပည္ပ အလုပ္အကိုင္ဝန္ေဆာင္မွဳ လုပ္ငန္းရွင္မ်ား အဖြဲ႕ခ်ဳပ္ (MOEAF)၊ လူကုန္ ကူးမွဳတားဆီးႏွိမ္နင္းေရး ရဲတပ္ဖြဲ႕ ၊ အဓမၼေစခိုင္းမွဳႏွင့္ ပတ္သတ္၍ အိုင္အယ္လ္အို၏ တိုင္ၾကားမွဳ ယႏၱရားႏွင့္ အရပ္ဖက္လူမွဳအဖြဲ႕အစည္းမ်ားႏွင့္ အလုပ္သမားအဖြဲ႕အစည္းမ်ား၏ ဝန္ေဆာင္မွဳမ်ားအပါအဝင္ ျမန္မာေရႊ႕ေျပာင္းအလုပ္သမားမ်ား လက္ရွိအသံုးျပဳေနသည့္ မတူညီေသာ ယႏၱရားမ်ားကို ခြဲျခမ္းစိတ္ျဖာေလ့လာထားသည္ ။ အျခားမူရင္းႏိုင္ငံမ်ားမွေလ့လာထားေသာ ေကာင္းမြန္သည့္ေဆာင္ရြက္ခ်က္မ်ားကို ဥပမာထား၍ ေရးသားျပဳစုထားသည္။

  2. Country of origin complaints mechanisms for overseas migrants from Myanmar

    This Briefing Paper is the first in a series of Briefing papers providing technical input on particular migration issues being produced by the ILO Yangon supported by Livelihoods and Food Security Trust Fund (LIFT). The briefing paper provides the international legal framework and guidelines governing complaints or grievance mechanisms for migrants. It analyses different mechanisms currently available to Myanmar migrants including the government complaints mechanism, embassies, Myanmar Overseas Employment Agencies Federation (MOEAF), Anti-Trafficking in Persons Division, ILO Forced Labour complaints mechanism and civil society organisations and labour organisations support services. It provides examples of good practices from other countries of origin.

  14. Executive summary report on Myanmar labour force, child labour and school to work transition survey 2015

    The Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Security and the Central Statistical Organization of Myanmar conducted a labour force, child labour and school-to-work transition survey (LF-CL-SWTS) from 1st March to 31st March 2015, with the financial and technical support of the International Labour Organization (ILO). The survey covered 23,425 households throughout the country, covering 1,468 enumeration areas (EAs) as delineated in the Myanmar Population and Housing Census of 2014.

  15. Needs Assessment of Educational Institutions in Yangon

    The ILO has initiated the Myanmar Programme on the Elimination of Child Labour (MyPEC), which aims to address child labour in Myanmar through a multifaceted approach that includes collection of national level data, awareness raising, capacity-building, and policy formulation and development. As part of the programme, ILO will implement pilot interventions in selected communities in Dagon Seik Kan, Ye, and Labutta Townships in 2016. The pilot programmes will comprise of education and safe work for youth and livelihood services tailored to children and their families based on their needs and socioeconomic background, with a particular focus on increasing participation in education.

    The Knowledge, Attitudes and Practices (KAP) Study has been conducted to determine how various stakeholders behave and act with regard to child labour as a societal issue in Myanmar. The research aimed to identify factors that contribute to the awareness and high prevalence of the practice of child labour with the objective of developing appropriate awareness raising, advocacy and direct interventions.
