ILO participation at the Global South-South Development Expo GSSD 2014

The ILO presented a variety of successful regional initiatives developed by their participating partners from Ecuador, Guinea, Timor-Leste and Brazil at the session “South-South and Triangular Cooperation and Decent Work Post-2015”. Participants shared experiences on initiatives that promote social protection floors; social and solidarity economies, as well as the prevention and elimination of child labor; and collaborative efforts between fragile States. The Global South-South Development Expo (GSSD) is an annual event organized by the UN System to showcase innovative solutions that have been successfully replicated to other countries from the Global South.
