How will we work in the post-coronavirus world? These are some questions that Luc Cortebeeck tried to respond in this book which is a plea for effective international social regulations and a strong ILO as cornerstone for social progress.

  2. ILO Webinar on COVID-19: Stimulating the Economy and Employment​ in Asia and Pacific

    The lockdown measures have sparked an unprecedented economic crisis in most countries around the world. “Jobs-led” and “human centred” economic policies have become increasingly important and necessary in the COVID-19 crisis and recovery response. The ILO Policy Framework on COVID-19 Crisis based on International Labour Standards identified out four (4) pillars to fight the crisis and one of which is the pillar on “Stimulating the Economy and Employment”. This webinar, part of the ACTRAV Webinar Series 2.0 will explore how economic and employment policies (in particular active labour market policies) can support workers and sectors in the Asia Pacific region to promote employment growth and more decent work on the road to recovery.
