Seminar on Labour dimension of CSR and Decent Work in operating business overseas
Growing number of global as well as Japanese companies operate business overseas now, however, they face problems in the field of legal systems, labour relations and labour administration. In these situations, Japanese companies are making various efforts to solve them and they come to be accepted locally. Efficient implementation of labour dimension of CSR will help strengthen companies’ competitiveness. Disseminating these good practices would contribute to a better understanding of the labour dimension of CSR for other companies in Japan and those from other countries which plan to expand their business internationally.
ILO Office for Japan and Asia Pacific Institute of Research co-organized the seminar to promote labour dimension of CSR and Decent Work in Asia, through reporting anecdotal experiences in Vietnam.
