of child labour laws in Fiji
This report examines Fiji’s compliance with the International Labour
Organization’s (“ILO”) Minimum Age Convention, 1973 (No.138) (“ILO
Convention No. 138”) and ILO Worst Forms of Child Labour Convention, 1999
(No. 182) (“ILO Convention No. 182.”).
Review of the existing legal/regulatory framework in view of facilitating the legislative process that can lead to an elaboration and expansion of a legal framework that is in accordance with ILO’s Child Labour Conventions 138 and 182.
