Future of work for climate resilience in the Pacific islands
This policy brief highlights how the Pacific Islands are at a crossroads where better jobs can be developed in response to climate change. It also outlines how the Pacific region could transform itself through job creation related to areas of climate change mitigation; if the local populations, especially younger people, are given the right skills and training.

Digitalization and decent work: Implications for Pacific island countries
This report identifies emerging trends of digitalization globally and their associated impact on businesses, workforce, particular older workers, women, and young workers. It also presents findings of interviews and surveys conducted with over 60 key stakeholders: senior representatives from government organizations, the education sector, employers’ associations, trade unions, and youth organizations across the eleven ILO Pacific Office member countries
