Sub-regional workshop: Building Equal Opportunities and Decent Work for Women
Strengthening gender equality with a specific focus on regional and national priorities
The ILO is planning to host a sub-regional workshop entitled “Building Enterprise Opportunities and Decent Work for Women” for tripartite constituents in the Pacific region from 22 – 26th July in Apia, Samoa.
The Workshop will include governments, employers and workers organisations from Samoa, Papua New Guinea, Kiribati, Fiji, Vanuatu, Palau, Marshall Islands, Tuvalu, Tonga and Solomon Islands.
The focus of the workshop is on strengthening gender equality with a specific focus on regional and national priorities that add value to the UNDAF and ILO Decent Work Agenda.
We will be working closely with the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Labour in preparing for this workshop.
