- allow the development of competence-based training programs in line with the requirements of priority economic sectors and regional development strategies, and
- increase TVET management teams’ capacity to respond to rapidly changing labour market conditions.
The article is addressed first to the community of professionals in the area of Vocational Education and Training (VET), companies and their representatives, who seek for mutually beneficial formats of cooperation with educational institutions. It seeks to understand the situation in which the training results are applied and investigates the current needs of the market, considering the technological changes that demand new professional competences for the innovation of educational services. To do so, it analyzes projects applied by the methodology of a Russian educational institution.

21 July 2018 the International educational program for leading regional VET management teams «Managing the changes in the VET system to strengthen regional economy» was completed in Khabarovsk.
Under the Russia-ILO program «Applying the G20 Training Strategy», Moscow School of Management SKOLKOVO organized an international expert workshop «Applying Innovative Approaches to Strengthening TVET Systems and Labor Markets Development».
