Master in Occupational Safety and Health

The general objective of the course is to facilitate the knowledge and skills required for dealing effectively with safety and health management in the enterprise. The course has been specifically designed for hygienists, physicians, chemists, engineers, inspectors, practitioners and civil servants with a university degree but without previous specialization in OSH, who are working, or wish to work, as OSH specialists.

The programme will be held in English and will last one year with the following timetable:
  • distant learning: from 1 October 2013 to 31 January 2014;
  • residential phase: from 3 February 2014 to 17 April 2014;
  • distance: preparation and submission of the thesis. The dissertation is to be completed before the end of September 2014.

The residential phase of the programme will be held at the campus of the ITC-ILO in Turin, Italy.
