Our Vision: SafeYouth@Work
Did you know that every day, some 6,400 people die from occupational accidents or diseases and 860,000 people are injured on the job? Of those, young workers suffer the highest rate of injury due to a lack of awareness of safety rules and rights, training and experience.
The SafeYouth@Work Project was launching the first ever SafeYouth@Work MEDIA COMPETITION in 2017 to help put youth vision and voice at the center of discussion on preventing workplace accidents and diseases. The SafeYouth@Work MEDIA COMPETITION is carried out in conjunction with the International Media Festival for Prevention and the XXI World Congress on Safety and Health at Work.
