What’s Your Safety Vision?
We Want to See the Future of Safe Work through Your Eyes

Story

SafeYouth@Work Media Competition

in collaboration with the International Media Festival for Prevention (IMFP)

We want to see your FILM, your PHOTO, your POSTER, we want to read your STORY and hear your SONG! Or SURPRISE US! with your unique contribution to raising awareness on Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) issues for youth.

Our Vision: SafeYouth@Work

Did you know that every day, some 6,400 people die from occupational accidents or diseases and 860,000 people are injured on the job? Of those, young workers suffer the highest rate of injury due to a lack of awareness of safety rules and rights, training and experience.

The SafeYouth@Work Project is launching the first ever SafeYouth@Work MEDIA COMPETITION to help put youth vision and voice at the center of discussion on preventing workplace accidents and diseases. The SafeYouth@Work MEDIA COMPETITION is carried out in conjunction with the International Media Festival for Prevention and the XXI World Congress on Safety and Health at Work.

Show what “Safety and Health at Work” means to you!

We want to see and hear what young people are saying about the work related dangers faced in their daily lives: show us how you, your community/group of friends, your school (organization etc.) care about safety and health at work for young adults.

The contest is open to youth all around the world, aged 15 to 24. You can find more information in the Terms of Participation.

The Prize: Your Voice heard around the World

Win the chance to showcase your ideas for promoting safety and health at work for young adults, at the International Media Festival for Prevention!
