Labour rights of undocumented migrant workers in a changing economy

Four online legal seminars in October 2021

Please register now for a series of four online legal seminars in October on Labour rights of undocumented migrant workers in a changing economy, organised by the Platform for International Cooperation on Undocumented Migrants (PICUM), the European Trade Union Confederation (ETUC) and the International Labour Organisation (ILO) Office for the European Union and the Benelux countries.

The systemic failure to afford, in practice, undocumented workers all the rights they are entitled to as workers hinders our collective efforts to ensure decent working conditions, to prevent and provide a remedy for exploitation in the workplace, and to reform sectors in which exploitation of workers and undeclared work are widespread.

The series will examine the rights of undocumented migrant workers under EU and international law, the challenges they face in exercising those rights, and promising initiatives at the national level, with the aim of equipping legal practitioners and advocates with tools to strengthen their defence of the rights of undocumented migrant workers.
