9161 GARBAGE COLLECTORS
 


    Garbage collectors collect and remove garbage from buildings, yards, streets and other public places.

    Tasks include -

    (a) collecting garbage by putting it into bigger containers;

    (b) collecting garbage and loading it onto a vehicle;

    (c) performing related tasks;

    (d) supervising other workers.

    Examples of the occupations classified here:

  • Collector, refuse

  • Dustman
