3415 TECHNICAL AND COMMERCIAL SALES REPRESENTATIVES
 


    Technical and commercial sales representatives sell various goods on a wholesale basis including installations, equipment and technical products and related services, and provide specialised information as required.

    Tasks include -

    (a) soliciting orders and selling goods to retail, industrial, wholesale and other establishments;

    (b) selling technical equipment, supplies and related services to business establishments or individuals;

    (c) providing prospective customers with general and specialised information about the characteristics and functions of the equipment, and demonstrating its use;

    (d) reporting customers' reactions and requirements to manufacturers;

    (e) performing related tasks;

    (f) supervising other workers.
