Independent Community Monitoring (MCI) on the Direct Social Support Programme – Post-Emergency (PASD-PE) COVID-19 – second phase: Maputo and Namaacha

This brief presents the main results from the second phase of independent community monitoring (MCI) that was conducted by the Mozambican Civil Society Platform for Social Protection (PSC-PS) on PASD-PE COVID-19. This activity engaged nearly 3,000 beneficiaries in the districts of Maputo and Namaacha in southern Mozambique. Developed with ILO’s support through the UNJP on Social Protection, it assesses the perceptions and concerns of beneficiaries regarding PASD-PE, as well as identifies key findings and possible options for improving the programme’s implementation.
