    A new Norwegian-funded ILO project will work to withdraw hundreds of Lebanese and Syrian children from hazardous working conditions and protect thousands of others from engaging in especially the worst forms of child labour.

    Syrian refugees and Jordanian host communities set to benefit from German-funded ILO jobs and infrastructure project

    The German Government through its Development Bank (KfW) is funding an ILO Employment Intensive Investment Programme aimed at creating short-term jobs for thousands of Syrian refugees and members of their Jordanian host communities, while improving infrastructure in the northern governorates of Irbid and Mafraq.

    Denmark-led programme funds ILO project to combat child labour in Jordan and Lebanon among Syrian refugees and host communities in need

    The Denmark-led Regional Development and Protection Programme (RDPP) has funded an International Labour Organization (ILO) project to combat rising child labour among Syrian refugees and host communities through labour policy reform and technical capacity building, to be complemented by direct services through partner organizations.
