Events and meetings

The ILO Decent Work Technical Support Team and Country Office for India (DWT/CO-New Delhi) organizes and takes part in a number of events and meetings in the sub-region. Below is a list of upcoming and past events. Any queries should be sent to the office by email.

  1. Multi-stakeholder Technical Consultation on FPRW in cotton growing areas in Telangana

    23 April 2019

    A technical consultative workshop for State and District level Government officials, representatives of workers and employers organizations, farmers’ representatives, civil society organizations, academic/research organizations in Telangana.

  2. Technical and Planning Workshop for Central Trade Unions in Telangana

    13 April 2019

    A technical consultative workshop for senior state representatives of the central Trade Unions in Telangana.

  3. Indian Employers’ Organizations commit to addressing TB and HIV in the world of work

    12 March 2019

    Representatives of Indian Employers' Organizations unanimously adopted the statement of commitment at a national round-table and agreed to be a part of the TB elimination initiative set by Prime Minister of India.

  4. National Capacity Building and Planning Workshop

    30 - 31 January 2019

    This workshop for central trade unions and membership based organisations was organised to discuss issues and challenges related to informal economy workers in lower tiers of global supply chains, including home workers and other home based workers.

  5. Consultative meeting on post disaster recovery and reconstruction planning for "Employment" aspect in Kerala

    17 January 2019

    ILO organized a consultative meeting with the constituents in Kerala to discuss on employment, post disaster recovery and reconstruction planning.

  3. Consultation on EU-India Employers’ Perspective on Skill Shortages and Talent Mobility

    This consultation was funded by the European Union and organized by the ILO through the EU-India Cooperation and Dialogue on Migration and Mobility (CDMM) project.

  5. Launch of the India Wage Report

    Presentation of "The India Wage Report: Wage policies for decent work and inclusive growth". The report analyses wage trends in India, including wage gaps between different categories of workers, gender wage gaps, wages by sector and occupation, and trends in wage inequality.
