HIV/AIDS Project Dissemination Workshop
9 - 11 September 2009
The ILO Subregional Office for South Asia, New Delhi hosted HIV & AIDS project Dissemination Workshop in September 2009. Supported by U.S. Department of Labor, ILO's project "Prevention of HIV/AIDS in the World of Work: A Tripartite Response" has been operational in India since 2001.

National conference with government, workers, employers, academics and civil society to highlight basically the value of women's work and its special characteristics of women workers.

National Training on "Sustainable Enterprise Promotion Through Good Workplace Practices in Human Resource Management and Workplace Practices"

The purpose of the training is to raise productivity and improve enterprise performance as a means to promote sustainable enterprise agenda discussed in the International Labour Conference.

Launch of the Skill Development Initiative for Domestic Workers/Household Assistant in India

The Delhi Government, the Ministry of Labour and Employment and ILO have joined hands to kick-start a pilot training programme to skill and re-skill domestic workers/household assistants across the Delhi and Noida region.
