The key elements of the Vocational Training Action Programme, in the context of child labour prevention and elimination, as a Convergence Strategy will be discussed. The focus will be on using skills development to the adolescents (14-17 years) and their families as a crucial element towards promoting income generation, poverty alleviation and enabling the younger siblings to continue school. The meeting will discuss the modalities for operationalizing the Action Programme.
