The workshop is being organized to deliberate upon the working and living conditions of poor and vulnerable workers in the unorganized sectors, the social safety net that need to be provided to them by dovetailing the existing governmental schemes / welfare measures, identify the gaps in reaching out to the largely migrant workforce and gather inputs for strengthening the relevant legislations and policies. e outcome of the workshop is to find innovative solutions to ensure the inclusion of the poor and vulnerable workers in the developmental initiatives of the Government and actions of social partners thereby preventing bondage and related exploitative situations.
