Hot technologies for business and science – International Forum in Yekaterinburg

The ILO Moscow Office was invited to deliver a presentation at the international forum “HOT 2.0: Hot technologies for business and science”, which was held from 24 to 27 October in Yekaterinburg, Russia.

The forum was held mostly within the framework of WorldSkills Hi-Tech 2018, a series of professional skills competitions for young professionals employed at the largest domestic-industrial enterprises.


The organizers of this forum included the Federation of Trade Unions of the Sverdlovsk Region, the Sverdlovsk Regional Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, the Department of Labour Economics and Personnel Management of the Ural State University of Economics, and the Ministry of Economy and Territorial Development of the Sverdlovsk region.

Kanae Tada, Technical Officer ILO DWT/CO Moscow, participated in the event. She made comments and delivered a presentation on socio-political aspects of youth employment in the CIS countries. Her presentation also introduced an ongoing ILO project entitled “Partnership for Youth Employment in the Commonwealth of Independent States (YEP-CIS).”
