The Subregional Tripartite Seminar on the "HIV/AIDS Pandemic - Social Consequences in the CIS Countries" has been organized by the ILO Moscow Office in conjunction with the ILO Budapest Office and with support from the ILO AIDS Geneva and UNAIDS Geneva. The International Labour Organization considers this to be an important Tripartite seminar on HIV/AIDS and the World of Work. It was attended by tripartite constituents from the CIS countries; and by Mr. Assane Diop, the ILO Executive Director, Social Protection Sector and Mr. Fredrick Buttler, Director, Regional Department for Europe and Central Asia.
