The survey was conducted in October 2011 in selected settlements of Almaty and South- Kazakhstan oblasts and aimed to provide estimates of the magnitude of the child labour phenomenon in cotton, tobacco and vegetable production, profiling child labourers and theirparents, and to identify potential project beneficiary children for the ILO-IPEC pilot project.
