  6. UN Ministerial Conference to address the social impact of the economic crisis in Eastern Europe, Central Asia and Turkey

    High-level representatives from Eastern Europe, Central Asia and Turkey will examine regional policy responses to the economic crisis at a UN Ministerial Conference jointly organized by four U.N. agencies (the ILO, UNICEF, FAO and UNDP) and hosted by the Government of Kazakhstan in Almaty (Kazakhstan) on 7-8 December.

    On 28-30 October 2009 the Third regional Eastern European and Central Asian AIDS Conference took place in Moscow. More than 2500 delegates from all CIS countries as well as from Eastern Europe, Central Asia and many other countries took part in the conference.
