The target group of this training consists of future members of cooperatives, persons who have shown interest and the intention to either become members of an existing cooperative, or who want to organize and register their own.
The seminar objectives are to: (a) understand the reasons for a pre-membership education; (b) identify problems in the community and possible alternative solutions; (c) explain the important events in cooperative development around the world and in the Philippines; (d) understand and discuss the concepts of the different cooperative principles and practices; and (e) identify the types and services of cooperatives.
