Community Emergency Employment Programme distribution of wages and benefits in Marawi and South Lanao

Beneficiaries of the Community Emergency Employment Programme (CEEP) in Marawi and South Lanao receive wages and benefits under the ILO-Japan Water and Sanitation Project in partnership with the Ministry of Labor and Employment.

Displaced workers mostly from the informal economy receive wages and benefits under CEEP.

The ILO-Japan Water and Sanitation Project and the Ministry of Labor and Employment (MOLE) distribute wages and benefits under the Community Emergency Employment Programme (CEEP) in Marawi City and South Lanao.

Ms Joharah T. Dimaluna, Provincial Head and Ms Noraidah Tamano, Chief Administrator of MOLE-BARMM led the distribution.

MOLE officials distribute wages and benefits under CEEP in six barangays in Marawi City and South Lanao.
MOLE implemented the CEEP under the ILO-Japan Water and Sanitation Project, with funding from the Government of Japan to reach out to workers affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, mostly those in the informal economy. It was successfully initiated in BARMM, and will become part of the government’s regular programme this year.
