Community-based Enterprise Development Workshop to Enhance Green Charcoal Enterprise in Tolosa, Leyte
With the support of the Government of Norway, the ILO Tacloban team conducted a Community-based Enterprise Development (C-BED) workshop in Barangay Opong, Tolosa, Leyte. The participants included worker-beneficiaries of the Green Charcoal Briquetting Facility, a sub-project supported by the ILO in partnership with a local organization called the Women in Development Association, in the same barangay.

The programme offers a suite of training tools that apply activity-based, peer-to–peer learning methods designed for implementation in contexts where resources, capacities and accessibility are limited, particularly appropriate in natural disaster recovery.
