Livelihood and enterprise development

Sharing and Learning Workshop on Livelihood and Enterprise Development for the Bangsamoro Development Agency (BDA) under the Programme for Local Economic Development through Enhanced Governance and Grassroots Empowerment (PLEDGE)

Aside from PLEDGE, the Bangsamoro Development Agency (BDA) has been implementing livelihood projects which are also funded by The World Bank - Mindanao Trust Fund in grassroots communities in the Mindanao region. The workshop aimed to share the lessons learned from these different livelihood projects and understand mutually complementing strategies for the use of the BDA in current and future community-based local economic development endeavours. The workshop also aims to support the creation of the Economic Enterprise Development Unit (EEDU) within the BDA.
Members of the Bangsamoro Development Agency listen to the presentations of the different community-driven livelihood projects being implemented and funded by WB-MTF.

Mr Rodolfo Baldemor, ILO consultant for PLEDGE, leads the presentation and facilitates the workshop. Documenting the proceedings is Ms Jean Liberato, PLEDGE Programme Assistant.
